Comedian and actor Tracy Morgan experienced a health scare on March 17 during the New York Knicks’ game against the Miami Heat at Madison Square Garden. The 56-year-old, known for his roles on “Saturday Night Live” and “30 Rock,” became ill courtside, leading to a temporary halt in the game.

Witnesses reported that Morgan vomited and appeared disoriented, prompting medical personnel to assist him. He was subsequently taken from his seat in a wheelchair, with a towel covering his face, as fans and staff expressed concern.

The incident occurred with just over six minutes remaining in the third quarter, resulting in a delay of approximately ten minutes while the area was cleaned. Despite the interruption, the Knicks secured a 116-95 victory over the Heat.

Madison Square Garden representatives have extended their well-wishes to Morgan, though no official update on his condition has been released. Knicks player Josh Hart also expressed his concern, stating, “Prayers up for Tracy Morgan.”

Morgan has faced significant health challenges in the past, including a kidney transplant and severe injuries from a 2014 car accident. He has also been open about his battle with diabetes.

Recently, Morgan has been involved in new projects, including an upcoming NBC comedy pilot produced by the team behind “30 Rock.” The show features Morgan as a former NFL player attempting to rebuild his image, with Daniel Radcliffe co-starring as a filmmaker documenting his journey.

Fans and colleagues alike are hopeful for Morgan’s swift recovery following this latest incident.
